Designed for tight-tolerance fabrication of commercial & decorative sliced wood veneers, this 320 Ton Veneer Hot Press integrates closed-loop hydraulic positioning with multi-step compaction curves for parts up to Standard 8' × 4' up to 13' × 4' multi-daylight panel envelope. The pressing cycle maintains peak hydraulic load across a 88-second timer dwell, enabling resin particles to mechanically interlock. Programmable decompression stages prevent delamination cracking before the lower hydraulic ejector pin array raises the compacted part.

Veneer Hot Press — material behaviour

Optimized for cold preforming of timber veneers, core sheets, resin-glued wood plies & laminates, the machine structure accommodates bulk volume reduction ratios between 3.2:1 and 4.2:1 with ample die fill daylight. Platen deflection is constrained under 0.04 mm/m under peak load, ensuring uniform green density distribution across both thick and thin wall sections before thermal sintering.

Platen bolsters are stress-relieved and surface-ground to ensure flat mounting surfaces for commercial & decorative sliced wood veneers tooling. Precision-fitted ejector sleeves provide balanced lifting force across the entire component base.
