Manufacturing Process
PTFE Gaskets are cut from molded or skived PTFE sheet stock using precision dies and CNC cutting to exact flange dimensions. Envelope Gaskets are fabricated with PTFE shell encasing non-asbestos or metal cores. Expanded PTFE Gaskets are manufactured from biaxially expanded PTFE with microporous structure. All gaskets dimensionally inspected before despatch.

What is the difference between Full Face and Ring Type PTFE Gasket?
Full Face PTFE Gaskets cover the entire flange face including bolt holes — used with flat-face flanges (glass-lined equipment, FRP, cast iron). Ring Type PTFE Gaskets fit only between the raised faces inside the bolt circle — used with raised-face steel and stainless steel flanges in standard process piping.
What is an Envelope PTFE Gasket and where is it used?
An Envelope PTFE Gasket has a thin PTFE outer shell encasing a compressible inner core of non-asbestos fibre, rubber, or corrugated metal. It provides PTFE chemical resistance in contact with process media while the core delivers compression resilience — the standard gasket for glass-lined reactor nozzles and enamelled vessel flanges (DIN 28148 standard).
