Scope and process

Engineering workflow for palletized fixtures at Dahegam, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India: 3D CAD modeling of part workholding envelope → FEA clamping force and deflection analysis → CNC machining of hardened baseplates and locator nests → grinding of locating dowels and wear pads → laser CMM verification of critical datum points.

Materials we work with

Matched pallet set on a common receiver interface, each pallet identified so its history can be tracked.

Tooling support

Locates on machined datum faces and bores; clamping is placed clear of the tool path.

Choosing the right option

When requesting a proposal for palletized fixtures, please provide component 3D CAD models (STEP/IGES), 2D part drawings indicating critical datums, machine table specifications (T-slot pitch, pallet size), and target cycle time. Quotes with 3D concept layouts are issued within 24 hours.

Quality checks and inspection

On a fixture the check that matters is locating repeatability after reload, and clamp positions checked against the tool path. Dimensions are verified on CMM against the fixture drawing before despatch.

Commissioning and handover

Proved by exchanging pallets repeatedly and measuring position each time — pallet-to-pallet consistency is the point of the system.

Export packing and lead time

Ships assembled with locating elements fitted and clamp positions set. HEMSUN is a DGFT IEC registered exporter (Government of India); commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin accompany international despatch.

Maintenance and spare parts

Pallet receivers collect swarf and pallets wear unevenly if some are used more than others. Rotate them and clean the receivers.
