ETFE Ball | Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene Ball | 5mm to 310mm | Tough Fluoropolymer
HEMSUN ENGG. INDUSTRIES manufactures ETFE Balls — Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene Balls — from 5mm to 310mm diameter. ETFE is the toughest, most mechanically strong fluoropolymer — ETFE Balls combine good fluoropolymer chemical resistance with tensile strength and impact resistance that significantly exceeds PTFE, FEP, and PFA Balls. ETFE Balls are used in check valves and ball valves where chemical resistance is needed alongside high mechanical loads, impact, or abrasion — particularly in industrial pump check valves and UV-exposed outdoor chemical plant valves. ISO 3290 Grade G10. Exported globally.
Applications
High-pressure chemical valves
ETFE Balls where PTFE Balls lack mechanical strength
Industrial pump check valves
ETFE Balls in high-velocity, high-impact chemical pump check valves
Outdoor chemical systems
UV-resistant ETFE Balls in outdoor plant valves across UAE and Middle East
Pharmaceutical and food
FDA-compliant ETFE Balls in process valves

Manufacturing Process
ETFE Balls are CNC-machined from extruded ETFE rod stock using carbide tooling. ETFE's high toughness requires robust fixturing for precision machining to ISO 3290 Grade G10 roundness.
Compliance & Standards
IEC registered. FDA-compliant grade available. ISO 3290 Grade G10. Note: ETFE maximum temperature is +150°C — for higher temperatures, use PTFE or PFA Balls. For HF acid service, use PTFE or PFA Balls. Regular export to UAE, Germany, USA, Japan, Singapore, Brazil, Turkey, and Middle East.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I choose ETFE Ball over PTFE Ball?
Choose ETFE Ball when: fluoropolymer chemical resistance is needed alongside higher mechanical strength or impact resistance than PTFE can provide. ETFE Balls handle higher differential pressure across the valve seat and resist cracking under high-velocity fluid impact better than PTFE Balls. Choose PTFE Ball when broadest chemical resistance (including HF) and lowest friction are the priority.
What is the largest ETFE Ball you manufacture?
We manufacture ETFE Balls up to 310mm diameter — one of the widest size ranges for ETFE Balls available globally.
