Viton Ball

Viton Ball — OEM PTFE component, HEMSUN ENGG. INDUSTRIES Ahmedabad

Viton Ball | FKM Fluoroelastomer Ball | 5mm to 310mm | Widest Chemical Resistance, High Temperature

HEMSUN ENGG. INDUSTRIES manufactures Viton Balls — FKM Fluoroelastomer Balls — from 5mm to 310mm diameter. Viton (FKM) is the highest-performance fluoroelastomer — Viton Balls offer the widest chemical resistance of any rubber ball material, resistant to petroleum oils, fuels, aromatic solvents, many acids, and aggressive chemicals, combined with high-temperature service up to +200°C. Viton Balls bridge the gap where NBR Balls fail due to chemical aggression and PTFE Balls lack elastomeric resilience. The premium rubber ball for oil and gas, automotive high-performance, and demanding chemical valve applications. ISO 3290 Grade G10. Exported globally.

Manufacturing Process

Viton (FKM) Balls are compression-molded from FKM fluoroelastomer compound then precision-ground to dimensional tolerances. FKM compounds with different fluorine content (66%–70%) available for different chemical resistance levels.

Compliance

Compliance & Standards

IEC registered. ISO 3290 Grade G10. FKM (Viton) — Shore A hardness 60–90 standard. Not recommended for hot water, steam, or low-molecular-weight ketone/ester service — use EPDM for water and steam. Regular export to UAE, Germany, USA, Japan, Singapore, Brazil, Turkey, and Middle East.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the largest Viton Ball you manufacture?

We manufacture Viton (FKM Fluoroelastomer) Balls up to 310mm diameter — one of the widest size ranges for FKM Balls globally.

When should I use Viton Ball instead of NBR Ball?

Use Viton Ball when: service temperature exceeds +120°C (Viton goes to +200°C vs NBR's +120°C), process media includes aromatic solvents, esters, or ketones that attack NBR, or process media contains aggressive acids or oxidizers. NBR is preferred for standard oil and fuel service at moderate temperatures where cost is a factor.

Are Viton Balls suitable for automotive and aerospace fuel systems?

Yes. Viton (FKM) Balls are widely specified in automotive high-performance fuel system check valves, turbocharger lubrication check valves, and aerospace jet fuel system check valves — combining broad fuel resistance with high temperature capability up to +200°C.
