Scope and process

Materials we work with

Components for metal powder component machines applications are produced from premium virgin and filled polymers (15–25% glass-filled, 25–33% carbon-filled, 40–60% bronze-filled, MoS2, PEEK, Delrin POM-C, UHMWPE, and technical ceramics). Raw resins are strictly tested for density (ASTM D792) and tensile strength (ASTM D4894) with batch traceability maintained for all production runs.

Tooling support

All tooling sets—including multi-cavity compression moulds and CNC machining fixtures—are designed and CNC-machined in-house from vacuum-hardened AISI D2 and H13 tool steel (58–62 HRC). Cavities are diamond mirror-polished (Ra ≤ 0.15 µm) to ensure sharp part release and high dimensional repeatability across multi-year OEM supply contracts.

Quality checks and inspection

Quality assurance protocols include digital coordinate measuring machine (CMM) dimensional verification, hydraulic pressure decay testing, dielectric spark breakdown testing (up to 80 kV/mm), and surface roughness profilometry (Ra ≤ 0.20 µm). Certified Material Test Reports (MTR) are provided with every production lot.

Commissioning and handover

For machinery deliveries (Hydraulic Compaction Presses, Compression Moulding Presses), HEMSUN provides complete factory acceptance testing (FAT) at Dahegam prior to shipment, followed by on-site foundation anchoring, electrical cabling, hydraulic oil charging, and operator training by factory service engineers.

Export packing and lead time

Export shipments are packaged in multi-layer VCI moisture barrier bags and seaworthy wooden crates. Shipments clear direct from Gujarat via Mundra and Nhava Sheva (JNPT) container ports with Certificate of Origin, packing lists, and commercial documentation.

Maintenance and spare parts

Comprehensive spare part packages (hydraulic seal kits, replacement heating elements, PLC software backups) and technical support are maintained for all industrial installations.
