NBR Ball

NBR Ball — OEM PTFE component, HEMSUN ENGG. INDUSTRIES Ahmedabad

NBR Ball | Nitrile Rubber Ball | Buna-N Ball | 5mm to 310mm | Outstanding Oil and Fuel Resistance

HEMSUN ENGG. INDUSTRIES manufactures NBR Balls — Nitrile Rubber Balls, also known as Buna-N Balls — from 5mm to 310mm diameter. NBR is the world's most widely used rubber for oil, fuel, and hydraulic fluid service — NBR Balls are the standard ball element in virtually all hydraulic system check valves, oil pump check valves, fuel system check valves, and lubrication system pump check valves globally. Available in Shore A hardness from 40 to 90 and acrylonitrile content from 18% to 50% for different oil resistance and flexibility requirements. ISO 3290 Grade G10. Exported globally.

Process

Manufacturing Process

NBR Balls are compression-molded from NBR rubber compound then precision-ground to dimensional tolerances. Acrylonitrile content (18%–50%) selected by application: higher content = better oil resistance; lower content = better flexibility at low temperature.

Compliance

Compliance & Standards

IEC registered. ISO 3290 Grade G10. Shore A hardness 40–90 available — specify requirement. Acrylonitrile content (NBR grade) specified for oil resistance level. Not suitable for water, ozone, or outdoor service — use EPDM or Neoprene Balls. Regular export to UAE, Germany, USA, Japan, Singapore, Brazil, Turkey, and Middle East.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the largest NBR Ball you manufacture?

We manufacture NBR (Nitrile Rubber) Balls up to 310mm diameter — one of the widest size ranges globally. Large NBR Balls (150mm to 310mm) serve large-bore hydraulic and oil system check valves in industrial and oil and gas applications.

What acrylonitrile content NBR should I specify for my application?

Higher acrylonitrile content (40–50%) gives better oil resistance but lower flexibility at low temperatures. Standard medium NBR (33–40% acrylonitrile) balances oil resistance and low-temperature flexibility for most hydraulic and oil pump check valve applications. Low acrylonitrile (18–25%) gives maximum flexibility at low temperatures but reduced oil resistance.

Can NBR Balls be used in fuel service?

Yes. NBR Balls have excellent resistance to petroleum fuels — gasoline, diesel, and kerosene. They are the standard rubber ball in fuel pump check valves and fuel transfer system check valves in automotive, aviation ground support, and fuel storage applications.
