PVC Ball

PVC Ball — OEM PTFE component, HEMSUN ENGG. INDUSTRIES Ahmedabad

Rigid PVC Ball | Polyvinyl Chloride Ball | 5mm to 310mm | Chemical and Corrosion Resistant

HEMSUN ENGG. INDUSTRIES manufactures PVC Balls — Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride Balls — from 5mm to 310mm diameter. PVC Balls offer excellent resistance to inorganic acids, alkalis, and chlorine at competitive cost — the standard ball element in water treatment ball valves and check valves, chemical plant piping system check valves, irrigation system valves, swimming pool chemical dosing valves, and large water infrastructure applications. ISO 3290 Grade G10. Exported globally.

Manufacturing Process

PVC Balls are CNC-machined from extruded rigid PVC rod stock. Grey PVC (chlorinated or standard) offers different chemical resistance profiles — specify application for grade selection.

Compliance

Compliance & Standards

IEC registered. ISO 3290 Grade G10. Flame retardant — self-extinguishing UL94 V-0. Note: PVC is limited to +60°C maximum service temperature. For higher temperature or FDA food-grade applications, PP, HDPE, or PTFE Balls are recommended. Regular export to UAE, Germany, USA, Japan, Singapore, Brazil, Turkey, and Middle East.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the largest PVC Ball you manufacture?

We manufacture rigid PVC Balls up to 310mm diameter — one of the widest size ranges for PVC Balls available globally. Large PVC Balls serve large-bore water treatment check valves and chemical plant piping check valves.

What chemicals are PVC Balls resistant to?

Rigid PVC Balls resist inorganic acids (hydrochloric, sulfuric, phosphoric), alkalis, chlorine, brine solutions, and most inorganic chemicals. Not recommended for THF, cyclohexanone, and concentrated sulfuric acid — use PTFE or PVDF Balls for aggressive solvent or concentrated acid service.

Are PVC Balls flame retardant?

Yes. Rigid PVC Balls are inherently flame retardant — self-extinguishing per UL94 V-0. This makes them suitable for chemical plant and water treatment applications where flame retardancy is a requirement.
