Scope and process

Materials we work with

Chuck plus pole extensions and fences suited to the part thickness and contact area. Body material is chosen for the duty — tool steel where wear or heat is the issue, aluminium where the fixture must be lifted by hand.

Tooling support

Locates on the magnet face with stops for position; holding comes from flux, not clamp pressure.

Choosing the right option

When requesting a proposal for magnetic fixtures, please provide component 3D CAD models (STEP/IGES), 2D part drawings indicating critical datums, machine table specifications (T-slot pitch, pallet size), and target cycle time. Quotes with 3D concept layouts are issued within 24 hours.

Quality checks and inspection

On a fixture the check that matters is holding force against the cutting force expected, and that thin parts are not distorted. Dimensions are verified on CMM against the fixture drawing before despatch.

Commissioning and handover

Handed over with a holding-force check against the cutting load you expect, since flux force is not obvious by inspection.

Export packing and lead time

Maintenance and spare parts

The chuck face is the wear surface; keep it clean and unscored, as contact area governs holding force.
